CYPFS Story – Shay from Geelong, Victoria

"A friend recommended that I come and see Robyn to help me find some direction. When I left school I went straight to work full time at McDonalds and then to Bunnings. I loved the freedom of having money but now I feel I want more from work and want to get ahead. I was confused about what to do next and how to move ahead in my career. I wasn't sure what to expect but I found the session really helpful. We went through all the cards. They really helped me understand my strengths, what I am good and not so good at, and what I would really enjoy and want going ahead. I left with a plan of what to do next and have some exciting study options to explore that mean I can keep working. More than anything I feel relieved and excited about where I am going!
